The Telethon are 22 years of advanced research that no government would have achieved, because their priority is different!
Do not rely on others to advance research but on ourselves together and for everyone in fact even if it is children who are essentially being put forward. And the Telethon is the solution that the more evidence of remarkable progress in this direction!
  I count on you

Eventually I hope to arrive at something correct (less crap and more efficient) but... (never happend )

Roughly :

  1. 1 Try to stop passers-by who pass  (in this overconsumption society or of on communication governed by the picture, needs to make it the similar to succeed in getting attention on something authentic crushed by this system?) to show an image of the harmonica closer to the truth since so many people are still believing that is a toy, or that Bob Dylan is the very best harmonica player, or Western music or Blues are the only things you can play. STTTOOOOOP !...Lets take few minutes to look at least at 3 or 4 nice videos or to listen to some MYSPACE page...
  2. 2 Participate to favour meetings all over the world...
  3. 3 ... Nooooo  I earn nothing else than pleasure and a bit prid to share and to make share the pleasures of a passion and a little more justice facing an instrument which deserves its place just as much in music conservatories (If you look mainly at videos with the Chromatic you will see what this gives in a symphonic orchestra).  It grieves me when fact to want to act so awakens critics and suspicion of people undoubtedly embittered by a society whom they think completely rotted and selfish... Another way of seeing half empty life rather than half full, or how to rot life regardless all these details which make that it is nice?... And music in all this?!???...
  4. 4 Be please conscious, that if I show a remarkable fan of sites, of links, I am far from showing all that deserves attention but if my site gives you desire to search farther I will be ten times more happy

By the way look a bit at my cards of the world by harmonica family: ... Having habit to end what I begin, the idea of cards is not an idea which passes; if you play game by adding you on the cards which correspond to you this will show that such system can also work to make people feel less geographically lonely with their harmonica (in France in 12 years I knew quite a lot of case of harmonicistes believing to be completely isolated in their village while in their neigbourg an other person felt the same ...)

Patrice

PS: Excuse my crap english... My mother langage is the french, and I do not have not enough time to manage all that so I must often make very quickly...

PPS: A small lonely initiative seems often miserable, almost useless but if people does want to believe a bit in it, it is not killed and this does possibly lead to nice things, even more !...

If you appreciate the idea to share what I know about the main harmonica resources on internet, I guess you also easily understand that yourself you may help other people found of this instrument like you... even be contacted by your neighbourhood if feeling alone with your instrument ;-)

Up to now it does seem strange to me that in many places you can find links on Harmonica resources but when you are looking to try an other family of Harmonica it becomes difficult to find someone who could help you or answer some questions or to give you or exchange some advices so you can easily discover something else than Diatonique or Chromatique or Basse and so on...
Perhaps is it also a reason why it is more and more difficult, in some countries, to find formations of harmonicas like for example "
The Harmonica Rascal" by the past or "SVÄN" today etc...

So I propose here on the left at least 3 links (See Players Communities... ) where you can register yourself in the family of harmonica you are playing or currently learning or tryng to play... That is free and what can profit to you can profit to the other... You can even modify your informations or even delete them if you change your mind...

No ?!? You are still here reading my long comment :-))) ?!??? You didn't register yet for your instrument in your area ?!... Please...Please lets go and register...you are welcome ! :-)

Patrice

Please register (its free) in your familly of harmonica with a way to contact you (i.e: An internet site url, a mail or as you prefer...)
