HARMOLIEGE, is an original festival for all publics. This festival which has been the forerunner in French-speaking zone of Europe, fort of its experience, takes place only every two years but is of a special quality and very waited by the experts; inevitable for any trust passionate in harmonicas !

These are three days of fest around the instrument, with 10 concerts on the main stage, a podium off, jam sessions, Workshops, Masterclasses, an exhibition, a conference, animations, stands,…  A place of musical meetings and discoveries; it is one of the very rare events od October not to be missed !

The artists were : The very famous Belgium harp player Thierry Crommen , the very young but excellant Rachelle Plas (blues/jazz) ; the young and dynamic Belgium harp player Geneviève Dartevelle and the Excello’s (blues/swing) ; the french duo Blackberry’n Mister Boo Hoo (blues/folk) ; French rock with Kwak ; a duo of classical music from italy harmonica/piano with Willi Burger et Marcello Parolini ; ‘manouche’ music with Jean-Luc Peilhon ; the very famous Carlos Del Junco then world music (Madagascar) with Tany Manga Trio et Vincent Bucher…  Only good things !

And then still full of surprises on place...  guess:The baron Toots Thielemans did visit us for an afternoon!...

Category 1: Very unassuming CADI JO who in insisting on the fact that TOOT THIELEMANS deserved this price. (Toots had one of it makes it deserved also because according to me CADIJO also deserved him)

Category 2: ERIC FREREJACQUES (I should not say it but I had voted for him even if I also love Vincent... That good and models that please you...)

Category 3: JOE POWERS Whom I love in Tangerine style (EDDIE NGO was in Harmoliège and be indeed going to help me in to me "Culturer" a bit side Asia he is very nice!)

They will say what is wanted by seeing the palmares it competes he am far from being kidding around and especially allows to make heaps of nice discoveries of harmonicistes sometimes unknowns to then by the community... Long life in HARMOLIEGE and to the Harmos de Cristal!!!

THEN, IN VERY SOON IN ALL IN HARMOLIEGE! But do not forget others either festival starting with that to come: Harmonicales
